Why You Should Workout In The Morning

Do you save your workout until after you are done with school, work, or your daily errands? You can actually benefit a lot more from working out in the morning for many reasons. Try setting an hour aside each morning to get to the gym.

Higher Energy Levels
After a full night of restful sleep you have an optimal amount of energy to get you through a gym workout. You should sleep at least 7 to 9 hours per night. If you are getting that much sleep and you still feel groggy, try taking melatonin supplements before bed. Multivitamins are also a great addition to your diet.

Fasted Workout
You are more likely to burn your fat deposits if your workout takes place during a fasted state. Countless research studies and papers prove that fasted cardio is an effective way to burn pesky and stubborn fat, particularly fat that collects around the midsection. If you want to get rid of the muffin top, hit the gym bright and early!

Healthy Morning Routine
How you start your morning effects the pace of your entire day. If you take positive actions towards your mind and body – you will notice a significant change in your attitude. Consistency is key, so challenge yourself to workout every morning for a week. You can go to the gym or do an at home workout at a rate of 4 to 6 days per week.

Increased Energy For The Day
When you work out in the morning, you will continue to burn calories for the rest of the day. Rather than workout later in the evening or at the end of the day, working out in the morning can increase your overall caloric burn for the entire day. The higher number of calories burned equates to more weight loss, as long as you are following a healthy and balanced diet.
