With summer just around the corner, bikini season is happily awaiting. Whether you want to wear a two piece or swim trunks, a flat tummy is the goal of many individuals for their summer excursions. A flat tummy can be achieved with the combination of exercise and diet. Although, diet is the predominant force dictating the look and fat contents of your stomach. A great deal of care should be taken when picking out what foods to eat and when to eat them to achieve the flat tummy look.
The most important factor to balance along with the diet and exercise is consistency. Even if you do see results, keep maintaining and doing what you’ve been doing. Many people have a tendency to go back to their old habits once they are satisfied with their results. This leads to reverting back to how you were and undoing all the progress you’ve made!
Limit Alcohol
Alcohol consumption should not exceed one drink per day when you are first starting out.
Stop Eating At 7 PM
Wake up early and have your first meal around 7 AM. As you continue to eat throughout the day, your last meal or food intake should be no later than 7 PM. Your body slows down at night and your food will not have enough time to be digested. Plus, it’ll make your body work hard as you sleep.
Workout Daily
A thirty minute to an hour long walk as soon as you wake up makes a big difference in the appearance of your stomach. Whatever mode of exercise you prefer, try to be active for at least 30 minutes to an hour each day.
Healthy Diet
Your diet should limit dairy because it causes bloating in the abdominal region. It should be filled with lean meats and fish, fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. Typically, you should do 3 meals and 2 snacks.
Healthy Beverages
Sodas, juices, and unhealthy smoothies should be avoided. Instead, focus on green tea, apple cider vinegar, and water.
