Popcorn is a fast and healthy snack. You can either air-pop your popcorn or use a small amount of olive or coconut oil. Once it’s popped top with a drizzle of olive or coconut oil and a pinch of Himalayan salt. Add a pinch of paprika and cayenne to give the popcorn a little more pop and flavor.

#3: Homemade Raisins
Use this homemade alternative to the standard, sugar-laden raisins found in the store. Simply gather a bunch of grapes and preheat your oven to 225ºF or 110ºC. Grab a cookie sheet and lightly drizzle with olive or coconut oil. Scatter the grapes on the cookie sheet and bake the grapes. Check periodically to see if they are done and that they are cooking properly. You will know they are done when they are slightly shriveled but still plump. This process can take up to four hours so it’s best done a day or two in advance. Store in a sealed container in your refrigerator. They will stay good for about three weeks.

This is a great breakfast as well as healthy snack. Grab a couple slices of your favorite whole-wheat bread and toast them. While the bread is toasting, mash some avocados in a separate bowl. Once the bread is toasted, spread the mashed avocados over the toast. Top with other fresh veggies such as peppers and onions or eat plain with a sprinkle of Himalayan salt.

This is the ultimate superfood snack. When purchasing almond butter, look for a product free from preservatives and other added ingredients. All you really need to make almond butter is almonds. Many health food stores offer fresh almond butter. Simply slice the bananas, dip in almond butter and sprinkle the cacao nibs over top. You can freeze these delicious bites too to save them for later.
