1. Plan Your Meals
Meal prep can save you time and money. Most importantly, meal prepping is essential to reach your health and fitness goals because diet comprises nearly 80% of your fitness. A clean and consistent diet is so important, especially if you are looking to have a flat midsection.
Tip: Pick a day when you are free to meal prep 3 to 4 days ahead, repeat!
2. Sleep Adequately
Sleep is so vital, do not skimp on it! Experts recommend 7 to 9 hours of sleep per night for most adults. The hours of sleep do vary from person to person. If you sleep too much, you may wake up feeling groggy. Take note of how you feel with certain durations of sleep.
3. Maintain A Light Weight
Sticking to the lower end of the scale for your body shape and height will support a long and healthy life free of many ailments and diseases caused by being overweight. Obesity is linked to diabetes, heart disease, stroke, and cancer. It’s lighter on your joints to maintain a lower body weight.
4. Floss Your Teeth
Tip #4 may seem a bizarre and out of place. After all, who fusses over flossing besides your dentist? Actually, flossing is linked to maintaining healthy arteries and reducing bacteria in your gums that causes disease. The bacteria can leak into the bloodstream and cause inflammation in the arteries. Inflammation in the arteries causes heart disease.
