Fat, it is pesky, isn’t it? It’s the blacklisted word in the health and fitness community. It almost seems like most efforts are to reduce the amount of fat onto your body. After all, who doesn’t want a toned, lean physique? It is only natural to want to reduce the amount of fat on your body. Fat does serve a few important roles for your body.

Fat isn’t all that bad. It can help protect your organs, keep you warm, absorb some nutrients, and produce important hormones. See, it isn’t all that bad. But, if you are trying to reduce the amount of fat on your body – take a look at the tips below.


Incorporate Fat Blasting Foods
There are many foods that are powerhouses when it comes to burning fat and promoting lean muscle in your body.

Eggs, coconut oil, fatty fish, green tea, whey protein, apple cider vinegar, MCT oil, coffee, chili peppers, full-fat Greek yogurt, and olive oil are all examples of fat burning foods.

Avoid Mindless Eating
Mindless eating can be one of the biggest hurdles to overcome when it comes to trimming off fat. The endless tv marathons where you are sitting back and snacking on your favorite chips can be swapped out for a healthier option such as vegetables or fruits.

Sleep, Sleep, Sleep
Don’t skimp on sleep, it’s not worth it. There are so many diversions that can distract you and grab your attention away from precious sleep. Technology can be one of the biggest distractions when it comes to getting quality hours of sleep. Put your phone down at least 30 minutes before you go to bed. Aim for 7 to 9 hours of sleep per night.
